10 points.what are colon polyps?
JennyH asked:
My husband, he at the time was 28, had a colonoscopy, and they found benign polyps in his colon. This was about a year and a half ago. He had weird symptoms...now the symptoms are back, worse...he went to his primary care doctor...which, he got his blood taken.....would his liver enzymes be elevated due to more polyps? He didn't inform the doctor of the colonoscopy....which he is calling them right now to tell them. But, I would like some of your opinions..thanks!

A polyp* is extra tissue that grows inside your body. Colon polyps grow in the large intestine. The large intestine, also called the colon, is part of your digestive system. It’s a long, hollow tube at the end of your digestive tract where your body makes and stores stool.
