How can I do more for a friend that is far away, and needs help?

I have a friend in West Haven Ct., and I live in Texas. She was diagnosed last year with breast cancer, and had to have a total masectomy. Then after that, her husband left her. She moved in with her Mom, and then her Mother developed Altzymers. Now Yvonne has her to care for, and tries to take care of herself as well. She is pretty sure that the cancer has spread. Can I ask anyone out there to pray for her. Im asking all my friends, and I thought it wont hurt if I ask you out there as well! Otherwise, you could investigate what other sources of help may be available to her and/or her mother, either financial or practical.
How about doing an online shop at a grocery store near her and having them deliver a few days’ worth of groceries?
And occasional ‘thinking of you’ cards or small, thoughtful gifts will mean a lot too.

just be there for her mentally . & try the can money thing with her picture on it to see if it will help.may if you talk to a precher at your church & see if they will send around an offering can for her as well. it wount hurt to ask. & have him pray for her.
