What would you do if several doctors told you that they cannot help you?

Now my sister has cancer in her colon, liver, lungs, and brain after she went through chemotherapy for cancer in one of her breasts. And now her doctors can offer no hope??? One doctor could only place my sister in his prayers... My sister has four children, too???

My sister, a widow of a disabled veteran from the Vietnam War, was abandoned by the Va her initial care providers and she was turned over to her private insurers and other health care providers... During the time she sought other help to battle her cancer, it is obvious that her cancer had plenty of time to spread into her vital organs... Is this the kind of health care that is good for Americans?
Colon Cancer Conquered

Sorry about your sister. When Obama’s health care reforms are implemented in a few years, others won’t have to go through ordeals like your sister and others have. It’s too bad these reforms didn’t come into existence years ago. No one should have to go through that.
Colon Cleansing in Plain English
I’d consult an Oriental doctor or approach it holistically … coral calcium has advocates.
Look Great and Feel Better!
Its really tough to go through what you and your whole family is going through, but even with the best care in the world, people die.
Some forms of breast cancer are particularly invasive and given the multiple sites your sister has, this sounds like it may be one of those.
Sometimes there is nothing left but prayer.
What would I do, well, we actually had this happen with my husbands mother. We called hospice and they were a great comfort both to her and the family, those people are truly angels.
Give Hospice care a call, get their number from the hospital social services department.
Its a tremendous help for those in need of end of life care.
Unfortunately, sometimes when cancers especially invade the lymph nodes, it can easily spread to other organs and systems in the body. Sometimes even the type (stage) of the tumors will put a person at a greater risk that treatments will ultimately fail, if work at all.
At the risk of sounding insensitive, sometimes the “bad news” is hard to bear … and praying is all there is left.
If social workers haven’t yet suggested Hospice, then I would give them a call. You can call any local hospital for their referral or their office. They are a tremendous help in assisting you and the family making the best end of life choices for your sister.
They can suggest a plan for having her at home for assisted care from staff, or show any family members willing to participate how to care for her.
If possible, they will arrange for her to be have hospice care in a facility. This may sound like a “nursing home”, but it truly isn’t. I’d seen my own family there, and it truly has the look and feel of them staying anywhere but a nursing home. Please do not feel like you are “abandoning” her to some else’s care. Sometimes it’s much easier on everyone’s mind and soul to not be at home, and they feel they can get a better quality of care at a facility. I took care of my mother at my home the week before she died … IT’S NO PICNIC.
Hospice can arrange her care for as much hands-on or professional care as you and your family likes and feels comfortable with.
There is no guilt in this decision. Sometimes there is nothing more you can do. What matters is the quality of time that remains.
I’ve been there.
Good Luck,
Nancy
Welcome to ObamaCare. I would start looking for a Curandero.
